Ghost signs (GS) are one of them. Ghost Signs are faded old painted advertisements or company names found on old buildings. They have to be hard to read, hence the ghost bit. We know where these are, but if you want to search for them feel free to tell us in a comment.

I love seeing signs like these in downtown areas, it really gives them character. It looks like somebody has put a window in the middle of the bottom one, too bad!

Those signs are really cool. I love taking pictures next to old buildings like that. It is hard to find stuff like that in the big city, most of the areas around here are developed well and they get rid of anything like that that's old.
